Good Morning All,

I have a new 2024 Tiguan R-Line 1.5 Etsi. We have had the car just over 5 weeks. My wife and I have noticed a buzzing/electrical interference noise when the car is driving but also when stopped and the engine has stopped during the Automatic Start/Stop.

I have tried turning off the heated seat and heated steering wheel off to reduce the electrical output, but it still continues.

The noise changes pitch randomly and isn't constant coming on every couple of seconds and then off for around 5. I will try to video the noise but not sure how well it will transfer onto the video.

I am just wondering if anyone has heard the same noise and if this is normal? I will be calling VW on Monday.

Thank you.

Try turning the voice recognition off☻, or turning the volume down. It might be feed back from the voice recognition, I was getting an echo as well as back ground noise until I tried a different setting. Good luck .

Thank you, I will give that a try for sure.

I have also noticed that it's frequency increases and becomes constant when turning up or down the heating when stopped with the engine off. It might have something to do with the heating control also.

Thanks again for the reply 👍

Any update on this?
I noticed having the same issue, thinking it has something to do with the climate control, especially the motors behind the vents...
