Annoying but hugely reassuring to know I’m not the only one suffering these exact speaker issues.

Let’s hope VW get a grip and put the polish on top of what is a really lovely car!

Just to confirm the pop noise is still present on mine, software version 2460. Had it a lot on a drive last night, hopefully they get it sorted soon!

Yes, Mine too, it lulled me into a false sense of security!

Not sure if there’s been a recent update but my speakers no longer sound tinny, the bass is extremely loud when driving now too, in fact they now sound great so not sure what’s changed! Still have the occasional popping sound however!

Sometime new speakers just need a little time to bed in to work properly

Are people still having this issue? Picked up my Tiguan last week and it’s been great so far, other than popping and crackling on some audio sources.

For me DAB is pretty much ok, but using Spotify from either CarPlay or the built in Spotify app results in occasional pops/crackles noises.

It’s also really apparent if the parking sensors are going off quickly when you are close to something.
