I got a bit of a burning smell from mine but only on the first journey and haven’t smelt it since.
I do notice a lot of heat at both front wings, most especially the driver side (RHD car) after a drive however.
The heat probably comes from the catalytic converter as its sits at the side of the engine high up in the engine bay.

I’ve just left for work for a couple of weeks but want to investigate it. It leaves the wings very hot to the touch
