Ordered my 3rd Tiggy today. 1.5 eTSi Elegance in Persimmon Red to replace my 21 plate Nightshade Blue Elegance 1.5, which in turn replaced a 2.0l TDi SEL. Also has the winter pack.

With current offers and a bit of wrangling , getting one that’s built but not yet in the country for less on my monthly payments than I’m paying for the one I have now.

Should have it by the end of the month.

Is it wrong to be excited at my age? :D

Of course you’re never too old to be excited about a new motor! If it were possible to be so then I’d definitely qualify!!
I was excited and obsessed whilst waiting for mine, just like all the other cars I’ve had since my very first one ….a brand new Austin Mini!
The Mk3 Tiguan is a lovely car, especially in the Persimmon Red ….Good Choice!
Hope you enjoy it!

OK, had a bit (all right a lot) of wobble on the colour.
My current Mk 2 Elegance is Nightshade Blue, and after a weekend of inner wrangling, I've decided I much prefer that to the Persimmon Red, so I've contacted the dealer and they're changing my order - car will need to be factory built rather than one that's already available, but I'm in no rush, and much happier.
When you're spending almost £40k on a car, you want to be happy with the colour, and I wasn't.

Good choice in colour, I almost went for red, then an ex demo R-line launch edition with all extras became available in Nightshade Blue, so I went for it. I’m really pleased with the colour & new shape, the technology takes quite a bit of getting used to.
I’ve gone from a 2020 R-line, Grey, 2ltr diesel, to the 1.5 mhev, I feel the 2020 model was a little plain & boring looking (I know many will disagree) & lacked a modern interior, the new one has gone all out & I feel it has too much technology 🤭

That’s a cracker in Nightshade Blue. Has reinforced my decision to change!

That is a really nice colour!
I told my dealer that I was looking for either Persimmon Red or Nightshade Blue as happy with either. So happened that a Persimmon Red became available for delivery within 2 weeks.
Another colour that suits the Tiguan well is Cipressino Green, although I didn’t appreciate that at the time.

I’m waiting on a Tiguan III Match eTSI 150PS DSG in Persimmon Red, but the Cipressino Green was my second choice. I followed a Tiggy in the green on Friday of last week, in sunlight it looked fantastic.

Mine is scheduled for build next week (Wk.36/24 - w/c 2/9/24), so hopefully in the UK around the end of the month.
