I've had the same thing.
Less than 24 hrs after they delivered my Tiguan Match at the end of June '24 the following faults came up;
Front assist unavailable
Side assist unavailable
Lane assist unavailable
Dynamic road sign assist unavailable
Took it into VW Brighton and they said there's no fix!
TPI 2073059 is the fault code they gave me?

Not good enough really, this is a brand new car!!.....stops assisted parking, speed sign sensors and ACC from working.

NOT GOOD VW....!!!!

I took mine into the dealer on Friday, for inspection. The official line is that it is a an issue known to VW and will be rectified by a future software update.

I did have the same problem as well + start stop system fault appeared. It happened to my car already twice in 2 months. First time when I had just 600 kms and now 2600 kms. After few hours all errors disappeared. I think that it might be related to water( it was raining in the morning when all the errors appeared). I also noticed blinking error message related to Front Assistant(appears in morning usually). My dealer told me that VW has to write new software in order to solve it, however this is not good at all. I am very disappointed- my first Tiggy 1.5 etsi blue limited edition.

Update on my issue, still not resolved.

I’ve been told it’s to do with the front camera module that sits directly behind the VW logo on the nose of the car between the light bars. Despite various attempts by the techs to resolve it, the next step is to replace the hardware (ie a new camera/sensor).

Unfortunately the part is on back order, which to me sounds like it’s a common fault. Hopefully between a replacement module and updated software I should end up fully resolved, but I don’t know when!

Does anyone know if VW will offer some sort of compensation? Has anyone with a similar issue been given any redress by VW?

I have this 5 days after receiving the vehicle from new.

Took back to the dealer and they replaced the larger battery. Since then they have also found an major fault with the Tiguan where the car will not start, but leave it for 20 minutes and like magic it starts.

VW have confirmed this as a know issue and are working on a fix (6-8 week), they said this could have been linked to the first issue (multiple warnings)

I've now had the sudden array of faults flash up (2.0TDi R line, 2 months old now). Strangely happened after it rained... there are reports of it happening after washing the car, so maybe there's a link.... who knows; they all cleared after it dried up....

Anyway, I then get an email from the dealers as the car has reported said faults to them by itself, they want me to book it in to see what the fault is.

I've said it's a common fault, alongside the non-dipping passenger side mirror and I'll bring it in when they have a solution... it's pointless right now...

Wonder when that may happen....

Yes, UK based....

Car had the hissy fit yesterday evening, and email arriver from dealer (that supplied the car) first thing this morning.

Email asked for me to contact the dealer's booking team to get it looked at in case it needed a service or was showing a fault..

Maybe not great detail sent from the car, but they knew something was astray...

Update:

After having the front camera replaced (which was on back order) it looked to resolve the issue - but going to use ACC again a week later on a long drive the fault has reoccurred, so back into VW for another look. This is starting to get really annoying - I'm going to write to VW UK to understand what they'll do about it, I've been making payments on a car I can't use properly.

I'd be interested to know if it's just a certain batch of cars because this issue appears widespread.

It is not a hardware but a software problem, that is why the replacing of the camera had only a temporary effect.
In Germany an update was applied at the affected users and seems to solve the problems.
There is also a TPI for this, can be seen in Erwin if you pay 8€ for an 1h access.
You can see in the TPI that they are already applying the software update as a series for the Tiguan, from calendar week 31, so all the new delivered vehicles should be ok.
A lot of recently built Tiguans (mine included) are waiting at the factory for the update to be applied before they are delivered.
Attached is the TPI in original german and translated in english.
